Tropicana at the Triad, presented by The Rhinestone Follies The Rhinestone Follies are so excited to make our debut at the beautiful Triad Theater on 72nd Street! Check out the details below. “In the TV show I Love Lucy, Ricky Ricardo worked as a band leader for a Cuban-themed Manhattan nightclub called The Tropicana. It was a dream in technicolor: classic cars and cigars, a world where every day is a beautiful tropical summer, every night is shrouded in mystery and romance, and every stage is covered in flowers and showgirls.”

On December 16th 2011, The Rhinestone Follies will transform The Triad into this land of wonder by presenting an evening of early 20th Century inspired burlesque entertainment with a distinctively Cuban inspired twist.

With burlesque by Kita St. Cyr, Hazel Honeysuckle, Beelzebabe, Ginger Brown, La Maia, Medianoche and The Rhinestone Follies featuring Cheeky Lane. Hosted by Bastard Keith.

Rhinestone Follies brings you a jam-packed evening of sparkly delights to raise funds for the Burlesque Hall of Fame and legend April March, The First Lady of Burlesque! This very special edition of The Sparkliest Show on Earth features performances by New York burlesque all stars Ms. Tickle, Neil O’Fortune, World Famous *BOB*, Nasty Canasta, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Chicava Honeychild, Dulce de Leche, Jezebel Express, Sizzle Dizzle, Arden Leigh, Anja Keister, The Royal Baritarian Players, and the ladies of the Rhinestone Follies: Beelzebabe, Hazel Honeysuckle and Kita St. Cyr! Raffle prizes throughout the evening courtesy of the Burlesque Hall of Fame, ENZ’s and Retro Lovely Magazine!

Doors at 7PM, show at 8PM. $15, 21+
