(More)…]]> It was a lovely day on the Jersey Shore, when I rode up to the beautiful house in Rumson, NJ to perform at a bachelorette party, to be filmed for the upcoming reality show on Bravo, “Chef Roblé & Co.“. Despite a couple of hiccups (having been told the theme was “The Great Gatsby”, only to arrive and discover the theme was “Las Vegas Casino”…), I had a lovely time, and especially enjoyed the fruit-juice-based Pop-Rocks jello shots and the Razor-Clams Casino. I never did find out when the episode was going to air, and actually forgot to check up on it.

Imagine my surprise earlier this week when, at 9:30am on a weekday, I receive a text from my good friend Joe that read:

“Gotta admit it’s fun to be watching a cooking show on Bravo at 9am and spotting a friend doing burlesque…”

Hooray! After a little research and some TiVo-ing, I got to see my cameo, a full 10 seconds on episode 6 (“Dinner Party Smackdown“), and laughed out loud when the caption came up on the screen, “She has perfect breasts!”.

Bacheloretttes complimenting my breasts on television. People, my life is now complete.

This from Page Six today:
“Burlesque dancers entertained the cast of “Seminar” at Lower East Side bar Nurse Bettie on Tuesday night. Cast members including Alan Rickman and Lily Rabe enjoyed tricks by “The Great Deceiver” Albert Cadabra, a performance by contortionist Ekat MissEkatarina and burlesque by Gal Friday and Hazel Honeysuckle. Brooke Shields popped in with Alan Cumming after her “Addams Family” show, and they jumped onstage to join Rabe in a dance-off.”

Last night I had the honor of being the surprise performer at Studio Sofield, easily the most beautiful office space I have ever seen! I couldn’t stop admiring the art deco antiques and amazing details everywhere, all while enjoying the delightful music of Dandy Wellington and his band.

Happy Holidays to all, and now I’m taking a long-awaited few days off!
