My dear friend recently covered my performance in the celebrated Mr. Choade’s Upstairs/Downstairs, one of the shows hosted and produced by the Slipper Room’s one and only James Habacker. I performed with the sweet and very talented Lucille ti Amore, reprising our recent act from Webster Hall’s Halloween show, “Circus of the Damned“.

Travel Bare Feet is a project by Mickela which states as part of its objective, the goal “to bring dance to the non-professional dancer/viewer in its truest and most original form – the expressive behavior that it allows in celebration and tradition”. As one of the true American art forms, I am glad to have burlesque included in her coverage of many fascinating and rich cultural dance traditions.
